Renu Gupta

My name is Renu Gupta. I am a painter, potter and a poet. I started my art journey 10 years ago. I have 3 years of formal training in pottery and since the last year, I have been pursuing studio pottery. My studio is in my home as I like to work in my comfort zone. 
My work is functionally aesthetic. It is a contrast in structure and volume, rigidity and softness, I like to experiment with different colours, and thus there is a large diversity in my work which creates a certain visual richness. This can be explored for years to come.
I also have a desire to de-professionalize my interest in art and help other people access the same joy that art has given me.
