I am a potter, painter, and poet. I started my journey in art ten years ago. I have three years of formal training in pottery from Delhi Blue Pottery Trust. For the last five years, I have been working at home, in my own pottery studio, 'Maati Maanush' in Noida. The purpose of Maati Maanush is to continue creating beauty. When I work with clay, I find myself completely soaked in it, almost becoming one with it. People at home often end up calling me "Maati Maanush," giving my studio its name. Before I started pottery, I had been a painter for a long time - that is why the colors entice me so much. As I say -

         "Ye rang mujhe bulate hain

         Apna parichay karvate hain"
